The final round of the "Innovative Startup Ideas - KGU Startup 2023" competition has 6 participating projects. This year's student business startup ideas mostly use local resources, clean food processed from local agriculture and seafood, applying science , technology, and automation. The ideas and projects all have real products.
Dr. Nguyen Trung Cang - Vice President of Kien Giang University affirmed that the innovative startup idea competition - KGU Startup is increasingly spreading with quality projects, ideas, practical products that can be applied to startups and are highly feasible. In recent years, innovative startup activities have always been encouraged by Kien Giang University and have achieved many encouraging results in the province and the Mekong Delta region.
As a result, the first prize went to the project "Five-grain rice", the second prize went to the project "Banyan Sorghum", the third prize went to the project "Poverty Land" and the project "Smart drying rack - P.EE.T", the remaining 2 projects got consolation prizes.
