According to the report, in the first six months of 2025, Agribank's Nam Thai Nguyen branch continued to maintain stable growth amidst challenging economic conditions. Under the leadership of the Branch's Party Committee, all activities closely adhered to political objectives, fostering innovative thinking, flexible action, and tangible results throughout the entire system.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of Agribank's Nam Thai Nguyen branch, stated that the unit's success does not simply stem from management capabilities, but is built upon a solid political foundation, where the ideology of Party members serves as a guiding principle for management and operational actions.
Since the beginning of its term, the Party Committee of Agribank Nam Thai Nguyen has concretized the resolutions of the Central Committee, the resolutions of the Agribank Party Committee, and the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee into appropriate action programs. These programs emphasize building a strong political ideology for all cadres, Party members, and employees.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu shared that the branch focuses on promoting self-learning and self-improvement, while also creating opportunities for staff to study new programs, especially in the field of digital transformation. Recently, 57 staff members proactively registered for an artificial intelligence (AI) course organized by the Thai Nguyen Department of Science and Technology. Many staff members have begun applying AI to their business processes, improving the quality of customer service.
Furthermore, the Party Committee has reformed the content of branch meetings. These meetings are not limited to theory but are closely linked to monthly work briefings, contributing to increased efficiency and practicality. Each meeting focuses on addressing specific challenges faced by the unit.

Closely connected with the local community, working together for development.
With consistent leadership and the concerted efforts of the entire unit, Agribank's Nam Thai Nguyen branch has achieved many impressive business results. As of May 31, 2025, total capital reached VND 12,265 billion, an increase of 197% compared to the beginning of the term, completing 56% of the annual plan. Total outstanding loans reached VND 11,454 billion, an increase of 257%, completing 100% of the 2025 plan assigned by the Head Office.
In particular, credit quality is tightly controlled. The non-performing loan ratio is at 0.23%, significantly lower than the target set by Agribank (0.5%). At one point, this ratio was as low as 0.14%, confirming the effectiveness of risk control.
Moreover, the targets for debt collection (including risk management), service fees, and financial revenue all exceeded the plan, reflecting the branch's proactive and scientific management capabilities.
Beyond its impressive figures, Agribank Nam Thai Nguyen has also made its mark by playing a pioneering role in agricultural and rural development programs.
Mr. Duong Quang Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Phu Binh District Party Committee, highly appreciated the cooperation of Agribank with the local Party committee and government. During the process of building new rural areas and developing OCOP products, Agribank has been an important financial driving force for the people, especially in small and medium-sized farms and agricultural enterprises.
Specifically, the poverty rate in Phu Binh district has decreased from over 5% at the beginning of the term to over 2% in 2025. The district also officially achieved advanced new rural standards in June this year – partly thanks to agricultural credit from Agribank.
At Hao Dat Tea Cooperative (Tan Cuong, Thai Nguyen), Ms. Dao Thanh Hao – Director of the Cooperative – recounted that when starting out, they faced many difficulties due to a lack of capital and technology. But thanks to the timely support of Agribank, she has built the Dinh tea brand and the Hao Dat tea cultural space, which is famous throughout the country.
According to the unit's leadership, Agribank Nam Thai Nguyen currently has 116 Party members, accounting for 55.5% of the total workforce. The Party branch is organized into 5 subordinate units. From 2020 to the present, the Party Committee has consistently achieved "Good Performance," and in the two most recent years has been recognized as "Outstanding Performance."
According to Mr. Vu, political and ideological education for staff is consistently maintained. Movements to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style are implemented creatively and practically. Integrating Party work with business operations not only enhances efficiency but also builds a unique identity for the unit. Furthermore, mass organizations such as the trade union and youth union play a significant role. The annual "Agribank - For a Green Future, Happy Families" running event attracts nearly 500 staff members and their families, creating a cohesive and joyful atmosphere.
In response to the administrative restructuring plan, the branch promptly established a steering committee headed by the branch director, proactively reviewing the area and updating information from units such as the tax authority, social insurance agency, and state bank to ensure operations were in line with regulations.
"We decided not to wait but to proactively get involved, so that as soon as the new administration takes office, Agribank can immediately adapt," Mr. Nguyen Huu Vu emphasized.
Looking forward to the new term of the Agribank Party Congress, the Party Committee of the Nam Thai Nguyen branch has clearly defined its overall goal: to continue to improve leadership capacity, maintain discipline and order, promote digital transformation, and achieve sustainable development.
The Party Committee strives to maintain the non-performing loan ratio below 1% and recruit at least 15 new Party members during the term. In addition, coordination between the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, and other mass organizations will continue to be improved in terms of mechanisms and operational regulations.
In the coming period, the branch will focus on six major groups of solutions: closely adhering to industry resolutions, strengthening political education, enhancing the fighting capacity of the Party organization, improving Party branch activities, strengthening internal supervision, and replicating good models and effective practices.
The Agribank Party Committee is a grassroots Party committee directly under the Government Party Committee, with over 24,000 members in 214 directly affiliated grassroots Party branches. Under the leadership of the Agribank Party Committee, the staff, members, and employees of Agribank always strive, work together, and jointly monitor the completion of the political goals and tasks set forth.
Over the years, the entire system has been restructured and streamlined to ensure efficient and effective operation, in accordance with Decision No. 18-NQ/TW. Simultaneously, the entire system has encouraged and seriously implemented Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation; closely followed Central Directives No. 35-CT/TW and No. 45-CT/TW on organizing Party Congresses at all levels, ensuring timely progress, quality, promoting democracy, and maintaining the principles of Party organization and activities. Alongside this is the determination to successfully implement Resolution No. 192/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on achieving an 8% GDP growth target in 2025, creating a breakthrough in socio-economic development linked to the task of building a strong Party and political system from the grassroots level.
