Officers from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department also disseminated additional information on the new points of the Law on Fire Prevention and Rescue, regulations on the responsibilities of the on-site fire prevention and rescue force, and safety principles in production, especially at substations, power lines, material warehouses, and control rooms.
Specifically, trainees participating in this training program were also instructed on escape methods, identifying fire hazards from electrical equipment, initial handling procedures upon detecting incidents, and coordination procedures in emergency situations. In addition, trainees directly participated in simulated fire and explosion exercises, using MFZ8 fire extinguishers, CO₂ extinguishers, and blankets; performing on-site fire extinguishing techniques and basic first aid procedures...
Deputy Director of Quang Tri Power Company, Vu Thanh Phong, emphasized: “Fire prevention and rescue work always plays a particularly important role in the operation of the power industry. Even a small oversight can lead to serious damage to people and property, directly affecting the power system and electricity supply to customers. Therefore, equipping with knowledge, training skills, and strengthening the grassroots fire prevention and rescue force must be carried out regularly and continuously. Every officer, engineer, and worker in the power industry needs to be fully aware of their responsibilities, understand the procedures, and be proactive in all situations to ensure absolute safety in production and operation of the power grid.”
