Robusta coffee prices increase slightly again
On the London floor, Robusta coffee prices were recorded to have slightly increased after a sharp decline at 3:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. Specifically, the increase ranged from 11 to 23 USD/ton, with the delivery price for March 2025 reaching 4,979 USD/ton (up 23 USD/ton). Other terms also recorded similar increases, with the price for May 2025 being 4,891 USD/ton (up 14 USD/ton), July 2025 being 4,806 USD/ton (up 11 USD/ton) and September 2025 being 4,721 USD/ton (up 12 USD/ton).

Arabica coffee prices increase and decrease in opposite directions
Similarly, Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor also increased slightly, with an increase of 1.70 - 2.05 cents/lb. The delivery price for March 2025 is 318.50 cents/lb (up 2.05 cents/lb), May 2025 is 314.70 cents/lb (up 1.70 cents/lb), July 2025 is 309.30 cents/lb (up 1.35 cents/lb) and September 2025 is 302.80 cents/lb (up 1.20 cents/lb).
Meanwhile, the price of Arabica coffee from Brazil recorded an uneven increase and decrease, with a decrease of 0.20 - 5.90 USD/ton, ranging from 373.10 - 392.90 USD/ton. The delivery period for May 2025 is 392.90 USD/ton (down 3.55 USD/ton), the period for July 2025 is 382.90 USD/ton (down 5.90 USD/ton), the period for September 2025 is 373.10 USD/ton (down 0.20 USD/ton). In particular, the delivery period for March 2025 increased by 397.50 USD/ton (up 0.20 USD/ton).
Domestic coffee prices increase is not worth it
According to information from Giacaphe.com, at 3:30 p.m. today, January 10, 2025, after a shocking drop in yesterday's trading session, domestic coffee prices recorded a slight increase early this afternoon to an average of 119,400 VND/kg, an increase of 400 VND/kg.
The highest coffee purchase price in key regions of the Central Highlands was recorded at VND119,500/kg. Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak was VND119,500/kg, up VND500/kg; coffee price in Lam Dong was VND118,700/kg, up VND700/kg; coffee price in Gia Lai was VND119,300/kg, up VND300/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today was VND119,200/kg, up VND300/kg.
The domestic coffee prices that Giacaphe.com lists every day are calculated based on the prices of two world coffee exchanges combined with continuous surveys from businesses and purchasing agents in key coffee growing areas across the country.

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor also increased slightly, with the March 2025 delivery increasing by 2.05 cents/lb, to 318.50 cents/lb.
After a sharp drop, domestic coffee prices also increased slightly today. In Dak Lak, the price is 119,500 VND/kg, an increase of 500 VND/kg; in Lam Dong, the price is 118,700 VND/kg, an increase of 700 VND/kg.
The Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (Vicofa) forecasts that Vietnam's coffee output in the 2024-2025 crop year could reach 28 million bags, an increase of 1 million bags compared to the previous forecast. Based on current fluctuations, the domestic coffee price tomorrow, January 11, 2025, is forecast to reach 120,000 VND/kg.
