News, pepper price forecast tomorrow 7/10/2025

Domestic market on July 10, 2025
It is forecasted that domestic pepper prices on July 10, 2025 may remain stable or continue to decrease slightly. After a recent deep adjustment, pepper growers and traders are more cautious, making the possibility of prices remaining stable at 140,000 - 142,000 VND/kg the most feasible scenario.
However, if the world pepper price does not show positive signs, along with a slight increase in supply pressure due to growers needing to sell off their products before the rainy season, domestic pepper prices may decrease slightly by 500 - 1,000 VND/kg. Overall, the domestic pepper price trend tomorrow is expected to remain stable or decrease slightly, with no signs of increasing again in the short term.
International market on July 10, 2025
According to the report of the International Pepper Community (IPC), the global pepper market continued to have mixed developments last week. Domestic pepper prices in Sri Lanka decreased, while India and Indonesia recorded a recovery thanks to the appreciation of their domestic currencies against the USD (Rupee increased by 1%, Rupiah increased by 1%).
Domestic pepper prices in Malaysia increased slightly, exports were stable; Brazil and Vietnam also showed signs of recovery after many consecutive weeks of decline. Brazilian black pepper prices increased, while Cambodian black pepper and Chinese white pepper prices remained stable.
In addition, the Netherlands continues to be a major pepper import market, with Vietnam being the main supplier, accounting for more than 2,000 tonnes out of a total of 3,590 tonnes imported from 2023 to March 2025.
The above developments show that the international market is still volatile, directly affecting the domestic pepper price trend in the coming time.
