2,000 contestants expected to participate in "Piano Talent Festival 2025"

"Piano Talent Festival 2025" is organized by the Vietnam Institute for Educational and Cultural Development with the support of the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition, said: The competition is for ages 5 to 19 nationwide, divided into 10 groups with 3 categories: freestyle group, classic group, artist group (for contestants who won awards in season 1-2024, as well as students studying professional piano).

The 2025 season is expected to attract 2,000 contestants from across the country. This year, the organizing committee will also coordinate with domestic and foreign educational organizations to organize many small concerts, talk shows, international music summer camps, etc. to give contestants the opportunity to exchange, learn and develop their talents.

Candidates submit their applications online from January 1 to January 30, 2025. The semi-finals will be held at 3 locations: Concert Hall - Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music (March 1 and 2), Concert Hall - Hue Academy of Music (March 8 and 9) and Concert Hall - Vietnam National Academy of Music (March 15 and 16). The best candidates in 10 groups in the final round will receive gold cups, in addition to gold medals, silver medals, and bronze medals for each group...

The jury of the competition includes famous artists such as Dr. Dao Trong Tuyen, People's Artist Pham Ngoc Khoi, artist Minh Le, Dr. Dang Ngoc Giang Quan, Dr. Eun Young Joo, Master Truong Ngoc Chien, artist Tran Viet Bao, and People's Artist Trung Hieu.
