Sharing with VietNamNet , Dr. Than Thanh Son, Head of Training Department ( Hanoi University of Industry), said that through general analysis, the distribution of high school graduation exam scores in 2025 compared to 2024 has many fluctuations. Specifically, the average score of group A00 decreased by about 1.52 points, the number of candidates scoring 22-26 points decreased by about 111,000; from 26 points and up decreased by about 12,000.

The average score of group A01 decreased by 1.59 points compared to last year, the number of candidates scoring 22-26 points decreased by about 91,000; from 26 points and above decreased by about 13,000.

The average score of the D01 combination this year also decreased by about 0.88 points; the number of candidates scoring 22-26 points decreased sharply, about 202,000; from 26 points and up decreased by nearly 31,000.

According to Dr. Son, Hanoi University of Industry mainly recruits students based on the A00, A01 and D01 combinations, and the school's admission score based on high school graduation exam scores in recent years has fluctuated between 22 and 26 points. However, according to the 2025 admission regulations, candidates will be considered based on equivalent conversion scores between methods, so Mr. Son predicts that this year the school's admission scores for majors/training programs will be stable, possibly decreasing slightly in some majors that last year had a admission score of approximately 26 points, such as Control and Automation Engineering Technology and Logistics.

“Some majors that meet the trend of digital transformation and sustainable development, which are of interest to many candidates, are: Information security; Information technology; Mechanical engineering technology; Automotive engineering technology; Electrical and electronic engineering technology; Electronic and telecommunications engineering technology; Biomedical electronics engineering technology, Smart manufacturing engineering... also follow that general level, with majors that are recruited using the D01 combination (Business management group, Tourism ), the expected benchmark score may decrease slightly.

Because the Ministry of Education and Training's admission system will automatically select the most beneficial method and combination for candidates to be admitted to any major (according to equivalent conversion scores), it is predicted that the number of candidates admitted when considering admission based on excellent student awards/international certificates combined with academic records and results of competency assessment and thinking assessment exams this year will be higher," Mr. Son predicted.

According to Mr. Son, according to this year's score distribution, it is unlikely that any major will increase its standard score compared to last year.

However, Mr. Son said that the above predictions are only for reference, because the benchmark score depends not only on the admission score but also on other factors such as the quota of the industry/training program and the number of registered candidates.

Mr. Son said that every year, Hanoi University of Industry has about 100,000 registrations and according to this year's situation, it may increase compared to 2024.

As planned, the school will announce the 2025 regular university admission scores according to admission methods before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

Mr. Son added that in 2025, Hanoi University of Industry will enroll 7,990 students for 62 majors/training programs with 5 admission methods.

In 2025, the school has many entrance scholarships for new students.

For students enrolling in the general training program, level 1 is a 100% tuition scholarship for the entire course (about 130 million VND/student) for excellent national and international students who are directly admitted according to the admission regulations or are the valedictorians of the 4 groups of admission combinations according to method 3: (A00); (A01); (D01); (B00, C02, D04, D06, D07, D14, D15, DD2, X06, X07, X25, X27) or the valedictorians of each admission method 2, 4, 5. In addition, the school also offers a level 2 scholarship of 100% of the first-year tuition (about 32 million VND/student) expected for 21 admitted students who are not eligible for level 1 scholarships, based on the admission scores from high to low of the methods.

For students enrolling in 1 of 10 English-taught programs, the school has 10 level 1 scholarships worth 100% of the full course tuition (about 185 million VND/scholarship) for 10 valedictorians of each program, 20 level 2 scholarships worth about 138 million VND/scholarship and 30 level 3 scholarships worth about 92 million VND/scholarship.
