BAC NINH - According to authorities, as of 12 noon on October 14, the entire Bac Ninh province still had 7 points on some provincial roads flooded with water 0.4 - 0.6 meters deep, a decrease of 5 points compared to October 13.

Specifically, on provincial road 292 at Km7+650 through Tien Luc commune, the water level is 0.6 m deep; provincial road 295 at Km32+800 through Phuc Hoa commune, the water level is 0.55 m deep; provincial road 296 at Km8+750 through Hop Thinh commune, the water level is 0.4 m deep.

Provincial Road 298 at Km8+300 through Tan Yen commune is flooded 0.6 m deep and 0.4 m deep at Km9+130 through Viet Yen ward; Provincial Road 398B at both locations Km20+400 through My Thai commune and Km28+650 through Viet Yen ward, Tan Yen commune, is flooded 0.4 m/point. It is expected that on October 16, the water on traffic routes will be drained.

According to the Department of Construction, at the above flooded points, the Department has placed warning signs of deep water levels, stretched ropes, and had people on guard, directing traffic, and ensuring traffic safety for people and vehicles on the route.

Not only flooded, recently, due to the impact of heavy rain and floods, some provincial and national roads have suffered landslides on the positive slopes, causing rocks and soil to flow down the roadbed and landslides on the negative slopes, causing the road surface to collapse. For the locations of landslides on the positive slopes, the Department of Construction has directed Bac Giang Road Joint Stock Company to clear all rocks and soil that have spilled onto the road surface, ensuring smooth traffic.

Bypass on Highway 31 at Km96+800.

Up to now, at the negative slope landslide location at Km96+800 on National Highway 31, the functional unit of the Department has completed the construction of a bypass road, the road surface has been reinforced with crushed stone aggregate layer to ensure the movement of cars under 3.5 tons and rural vehicles.

The remaining landslides and damaged auxiliary works, foundations, and road surfaces on some other routes such as National Highway 279, Provincial Road 291, Provincial Road 248... have not been repaired. Bac Giang Road Joint Stock Company has barricaded and posted warning signs.
