According to Tran Minh Duc, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Public Services and Tourist Attractions of Nghi Xuan District, the infrastructure and traffic system connecting Xuan Thanh beach resort with urban areas, cultural and tourist attractions in Ha Tinh province, as well as the North Central region, has been invested and completed. With a wide, long white sand beach, Xuan Thanh beach is increasingly known by domestic and foreign tourists and chosen as a stopover in each experience trip.

“Nghi Xuan district is widely implementing the code of conduct, rectifying and strictly handling violations to create a safe, civilized, friendly and attractive tourism environment in Xuan Thanh in particular and tourist and cultural destinations in the area in general,” Mr. Tran Minh Duc added.

Located more than 20km southeast of Ha Tinh city along the coastal highway Xuan Hoi-Vung Ang, Thien Cam beach (Cam Xuyen district) always bears the legendary mark of blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine.

From a pristine beach, today, Thien Cam is growing to become an attractive resort, a national key tourist area.

"With in-depth investment and preparation, I believe that this year the number of tourists coming to Thien Cam beach and staying here will increase compared to last year", affirmed the Head of Thien Cam Tourist Area Management Board.

Ha Tinh is a locality with quite diverse tourism resources, with a 137km long coastline with many beautiful and attractive beaches such as Thien Cam, Xuan Thanh, Cua Sot, Ky Xuan... With a central geographical location in the region, Ha Tinh is located on the Trans-Vietnam Tourism Route, the starting point of the Central Heritage Road tourism route, one of the important gateways of the East-West Corridor tourism space through the National Highways 8A and 12A to Laos and Thailand. Along with Ha Tinh's advantages in sea tourism, scenic spots and revolutionary cultural traditions, it creates great potential and comparative advantages when investing in tourism development cooperation.

In addition to the established tourist areas and spots, there are currently 10 tourism projects that are attracting investors' attention, such as: T&T Group with the Ecological Urban Area, Tourism, Entertainment Area along Lam River, Xuan Giang Commune (total estimated investment of 50,000 billion VND); GS Holding Joint Stock Company with the Thinh Loc International Golf Course and Resort Complex Project (total estimated investment of 3,000 billion VND); TH Group Joint Stock Company with the Ecological Resort Tourism Project in the Ngan Truoi Lake area; Sungroup with the Bac Thien Cam Tourism Service Complex Project...

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh Le Tran Sang said that, in parallel with the effective implementation of planning and management of tourism planning in potential areas, the locality will prioritize calling for investors to implement entertainment tourism projects, sports services combined with resorts to diversify tourism products, improve facilities serving tourists and contribute to increasing spending of tourists to Ha Tinh. At the same time, implementing tourism promotion and advertising activities, building a network of destinations, typical tourism products associated with historical and cultural relics. Applying technology, promoting digital transformation in tourism development, digitizing historical and cultural relic destinations associated with tourism.

According to the concerns and sharing of local leaders and tourists when coming to Ha Tinh, although Ha Tinh sea tourism contains many potentials and distinct advantages, however, looking at it as a whole, tourism products in Ha Tinh still lack uniqueness, are somewhat monotonous, and there are not many high-class entertainment areas in the area. Some beautiful beaches have not been comprehensively planned, the connectivity between regions, and promotion work are not fundamental and regular...

This is also one of the bottlenecks that needs to be resolved soon for Ha Tinh sea tourism to develop to its full potential.

In 2023, Ha Tinh province welcomed more than 3.36 million visitors (an increase of 110% over the same period in 2022, exceeding the 2023 plan by 34%). Of which, domestic visitors reached 897,651 and international visitors reached 14,661.
