Bringing Ha Giang OCOP agricultural products to consumers in the capital

The agricultural product translation between Ha Giang and Hanoi took place from November 21-23, 2024. The event attracted many businesses to participate in cooperation and expand the market for OCOP products. Notably, more than 2 tons of Ha Giang yellow oranges were consumed on the first day.

On November 21, at the Hanoi Farmers' Support Center (33 Nguyen Chi Thanh), the Ha Giang Farmers' Association in coordination with the Hanoi Farmers' Association organized a trading session to introduce, connect and consume OCOP products and typical agricultural products of Ha Giang province. The trading session took place over 3 days from November 21 to 23, 2024. The trading session was an opportunity for cooperatives, cooperatives, and production establishments of Ha Giang and Hanoi to meet and exchange experiences in organizing production, promoting products, expanding markets and strengthening trade connections. The event attracted more than 20 cooperatives, cooperatives and production and trading establishments of safe agricultural products of Ha Giang province, with nearly 40 types of OCOP products and key agricultural products displayed and introduced. Notably, on the opening day of November 21, the Hanoi Farmers' Association connected to consume more than 2 tons of Ha Giang yellow oranges. The cooperation program between the Hanoi Farmers' Association and the Ha Giang Farmers' Association for the period 2024-2028 not only aims at consuming agricultural products, but also builds a sustainable value chain, contributing to improving farmers' lives and developing sustainable agriculture in the two localities.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Hoang Van Thinh, Provincial Party Committee member and Chairman of the Farmers’ Association of Ha Giang province, emphasized the importance of this transaction session as a bridge between cooperatives, cooperatives and production facilities of Ha Giang and Hanoi. This is an opportunity for units to meet, exchange experiences, seek cooperation opportunities and expand the consumption market for safe agricultural products.
