Bringing OCOP agricultural products from Ha Giang to consumers in the capital city.

The agricultural trade fair between Ha Giang and Hanoi took place from November 21-23, 2024. The event attracted many businesses to participate in cooperation and expand markets for OCOP products. Notably, more than 2 tons of Ha Giang's golden oranges were sold on the first day.

Ha Giang's specialty oranges have been well-received by consumers in the capital city.

On November 21st, at the Hanoi City Farmers' Support Center (33 Nguyen Chi Thanh Street), the Ha Giang Provincial Farmers' Association, in coordination with the Hanoi City Farmers' Association, organized a trade fair to introduce, connect, and sell OCOP products and typical agricultural products of Ha Giang province. The trade fair took place over three days, from November 21st to 23rd, 2024. The fair provided an opportunity for cooperatives, production facilities, and businesses from Ha Giang and Hanoi to meet, exchange experiences in production organization, product promotion, market expansion, and strengthen trade connections. The event attracted more than 20 cooperatives, production facilities, and businesses producing and trading safe agricultural products from Ha Giang province, showcasing nearly 40 types of OCOP products and key agricultural products. Notably, on the opening day, November 21st, the Hanoi City Farmers' Association facilitated the sale of over 2 tons of Ha Giang golden oranges. The collaborative program between the Hanoi City Farmers' Association and the Ha Giang Provincial Farmers' Association for the period 2024-2028 aims not only to promote agricultural product consumption but also to build sustainable value chains, contributing to improving farmers' lives and developing sustainable agriculture in both localities.

Specialty products from Ha Giang province will be introduced and promoted by the Ha Giang Provincial Farmers' Association in coordination with the Hanoi City Farmers' Association from November 21-23, at 33 Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Hoang Van Thinh, Provincial Party Committee member and Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Ha Giang province, emphasized the importance of this trading session as a bridge between cooperatives, production facilities in Ha Giang and Hanoi. This is an opportunity for units to meet, exchange experiences, seek cooperation opportunities, and expand markets for safe agricultural products.

Mr. Nguyen Nguyen Hung, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi City Farmers' Association, stated that to enhance trade promotion, the association will continue to develop many practical activities. The association will promote the application of digital transformation, online advertising, and e-commerce. In addition, encouraging businesses to build brands and improve product packaging designs is also crucial to increasing the value of agricultural products from Ha Giang. This trade fair marks an important step forward for safe agricultural products from Ha Giang in particular and other provinces in general, opening up new opportunities for farmers to assert their position and products in a large market like Hanoi. The Hanoi City Farmers' Association is committed to continuing to support and work alongside farmers to supply and consume safe agricultural products, aiming to bring the best benefits to both consumers and producers.
