Bringing Vietnamese and Korean cultures closer together

This is a series of events to promote Binh Duong creative service industry 2023, scheduled to take place from September 14 to 17 at WTC EXPO International Exhibition Center (Binh Duong).

Mr. Le Van Thai, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture - Sports - Tourism of Binh Duong province, said that through this event, participants will be updated with modern entertainment and education trends and technologies. The symbolic characters at the event carry positive values, which are also one of the connections, representatives, and bringing Korean and Vietnamese cultures closer together.

Taking place simultaneously with the Vietnam International Cultural, Creative and Iconic Character Week 2023 is the icon character creation contest. This is the first contest held in Binh Duong, expected to build a representative character of the province to exchange, connect and convey the local message to friends around the world. The winners will accompany the province in international trade and diplomatic promotion activities in the coming time.

In parallel, there is the “Learning and Playing Festival 2023” activity for the local community. Here, parents and students can enter the gate for free and participate in festival activities.

In addition, other activities at the event include: Business connection program, Kpop contest, iconic character parade, cosplay performance, and animated film screenings of famous iconic characters.

Mr. Giang Quoc Dung, Deputy General Director of Becamex IDC, said that this is a good opportunity for domestic and foreign enterprises to approach international enterprises to promote trade. Local communities also have the opportunity to learn and develop new fields and industries.

At this event, Magiskator Joint Stock Company and WTC Binh Duong LLC signed a cooperation agreement to promote diverse, comprehensive and effective development of the iconic character.
