Having only regularly participated in International Challenge level tournaments in the past, Duc Phat and Hai Dang have not had many opportunities to compete in Super 300 tournaments or higher. This will be a good opportunity for the two leading Vietnamese male tennis players to gain more experience, and hopefully accumulate many points on the World Badminton Rankings.

Both are in the "difficult" bracket, but at least they still have a chance to pass the first round. Nguyen Hai Dang will meet Mad Christophersen (ranked 67th in the world) in the opening match. If he overcomes this opponent, there is a high possibility that "Momota Vietnam" will face Chou Tien-chen in the second round.

As for Le Duc Phat, the tennis player from the Army will face his Chinese-Canadian opponent - Sheng Xiaodong (ranked 84th in the world) in round 1. In case he defeats Sheng, Duc Phat will likely face former world number 1 from India - Kidambi Srikanth in the round of 16.

Also at this tournament, the golden girl of Vietnamese badminton - Nguyen Thuy Linh will face the young Indian star - Tanvi Sharma in the opening match. Thuy Linh is ranked No. 2 seed at this year's US Open and has a great chance to go far, and can completely dream of the first Super 300 championship in her career after 2 runner-up finishes at the German Open (2023, 2024).

After the US Open, the trio Thuy Linh, Duc Phat and Hai Dang will continue to compete in the Super 300 Canada Open a week later, in which Duc Phat and Hai Dang will meet in the first round.
