Elite mechanical warrior Nguyen Van Que

During the historic April days of the entire nation, the story of the resilient and brave soldiers of Uncle Ho's Army fighting the enemy to gain independence and freedom for the Fatherland has left many proud feelings in every Vietnamese citizen. A typical example is veteran Nguyen Van Que - one of the typical tank destroyers in the resistance war against the US. He is also one of the five typical representatives of Vinh Phuc province who were honored to be met by General Secretary To Lam on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

Enlisting in the army in April 1974 at the age of twenty, Mr. Nguyen Van Que carried within him the determination to defeat the American invaders and liberate the South with his comrades. As soon as he entered the battlefield, he participated in many campaigns and won many victories, from the opening campaign in the Central Highlands to the day of liberation of the South, this small soldier never once failed in his assigned tasks. The memories of the Ho Chi Minh campaign with the way of fighting that blossomed in the enemy's heart will always be an unforgettable song for veteran Nguyen Van Que.

With his courageous spirit, during the fighting process as well as the time of dedication to the Army after the liberation day, Mr. Nguyen Van Que achieved many achievements, was awarded many Liberation Feat Medals, Resistance Medals, and Fatherland Protection Medals. But for him, the title "Excellent Mechanical Hero" is still the most beautiful memory in his soldier life.

Promoting the qualities of a soldier, returning to peacetime, veteran Nguyen Van Que continued to actively participate with his comrades and teammates in local movements.

The story of the heroic memories of veteran Nguyen Van Que further affirms the courage and will to hate the enemy, ready to face danger to protect the Fatherland of Uncle Ho's soldiers. For today's generation or future generations, the great sacrifices of those who wrote history like veteran Nguyen Van Que will forever be an unforgettable epic.
