Railways open ticket sales for many trains during the September 2 holiday with many promotions

DNO - On July 11, Vietnam Railways Corporation announced that the railway industry will open ticket sales for trains after summer until the end of 2024 and on National Day September 2.

Specifically, on the Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi route, tickets are on sale for trains SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8. In the northern region, tickets are on sale for trains SE19/SE20 on the Hanoi - Vinh route; NA1/NA2 on the Hanoi - Lao Cai route; SP3/SP4 on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route; tickets are on sale for trains HP1/HP2, LP2/LP3, LP5/LP6, LP7/LP8.

In the southern region, tickets for the Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang route are sold on trains SE21/SE22; for the Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang route, trains SNT1/SNT2; for the Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet route, trains SPT1/SPT2.

On this occasion, the railway industry offers discounts for social policy beneficiaries such as Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, people infected with toxic chemicals, people with severe disabilities, the elderly, children, students, union members, and passengers with customer cards for all of the above train brands.

In addition, during the National Day holiday of September 2 (from August 29 to September 3), when buying round-trip tickets, there will be a 5% discount on return tickets for individuals and a 7% discount on return tickets for groups of 20 people or more.

From August 19 to the end of 2024 (except for the September 2 holiday), the railway will apply many promotional programs to reduce ticket prices by up to 15%.

Accordingly, for Thong Nhat passenger trains SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8, passengers who buy tickets 10 days or more before departure will receive a 5%-15% discount on ticket prices, excluding sleeper berths.

For train SE21/SE22 (Saigon - Da Nang); train SNT1/SNT2 (Saigon - Nha Trang); train SPT1/SPT2 from Saigon - Phan Thiet, buying tickets 10 days or more before departure date will get a discount of 5% to 15% of the ticket price, except for the 4-berth sleeper cabin type of train SNT1/SNT2, SPT1/SPT2....

For passengers buying group tickets, with a number of 11 people or more, the ticket price will be discounted from 4% to 12%. Passengers buying round-trip tickets will be discounted 10% on the return ticket price. The railway will set up a separate train with departure and arrival times according to the customer's request and the agreed price.
