Today, September 6, 2024, the working delegations of the Corporation continued to visit the provinces of Ninh Binh, Nghe An, Nam Dinh , Thanh Hoa, etc.

Locally, the Power Companies have implemented the 4 on-site motto, mobilizing human resources, means, and materials to urgently overcome damages and incidents, promptly restoring power supply to customers. Prepare materials, means, and spare equipment to be ready to respond to the next stages. In addition, right from the time of the storm, even during the Vietnam National Day holiday, the units have increased the frequency of periodic inspections, reviewed and checked transformer stations, pole positions on power lines at high risk of landslides, and had to develop plans and solutions to reinforce and promptly fix defects to ensure safe operation and stable power supply.
Units in EVNNPC regularly monitor and update information on the developments of storm No. 3, coordinate with local authorities, steering committees for the protection of high-voltage power grid safety at all levels, central and local press agencies to focus on strongly disseminating to electricity users instructions and warnings on safety in daily life during storms and floods.

Currently, Power Companies have plans to ensure power supply for important loads and pumping stations when flooding occurs.
The Corporation also requires Hydropower Companies and Power Companies managing small Hydropower plants to organize inspections and promptly fix defects in dams, spillway operating equipment; independent power sources (local, backup Diesel, etc.) for spillway lifting equipment to ensure the system is always ready to operate well.
Units thoroughly require workers to comply with regulations on ensuring labor safety during the performance of tasks as well as when participating in traffic; in particular, pay attention when going through flooded areas, crossing rivers and streams, wearing life jackets, avoiding drowning, taking measures to ensure safety when crossing rivers and streams, avoiding sinking or drifting of cars, motorbikes, tools, equipment, materials, etc.; Closely coordinate with local authorities and relevant agencies in reservoir operations and flood discharge to ensure the safety of dams, especially people and assets in downstream areas, etc.

EVNNPC also informed that for projects under construction and newly energized projects, there must be a plan to ensure safety for labor, equipment, and construction, especially to prevent the risk of landslides, flooding, etc., with signs and instructions to avoid dangerous locations that cause unsafety, and to review relevant property insurance records, construction insurance, etc.
