Ferrari 296 GTS priced from 23 billion VND in Vietnam has an owner

The genuine Ferrari 296 GTS supercar has a starting price of 23 billion VND in Vietnam, customers who buy the car need to deposit 2.5 billion VND in advance.

After 4 months of launching the Ferrari 296 GTB supercar in the Vietnamese market, Supreme Auto, the official distributor of Ferrari cars in Vietnam, has continued to introduce the convertible version of this model called the Ferrari 296 GTS convertible.

This is the 7th genuine product launched in Vietnam after the F8 Tributo, Roma, SF90 Stradale and 296 GTB were publicly introduced along with the F8 Spider and SF90 Spider sold directly to customers.

The introduction of the Ferrari 296 GTS convertible supercar in Vietnam shows that the distributor is actively introducing new car models to the domestic tycoons. The newly introduced genuine Ferrari 296 GTS supercar has red paint and additional optional stickers of the Assetto Fiorano package.

The price of Ferrari 296 GTS in Vietnam starts from 23 billion VND, not including the license plate registration fee. Notably, customers who buy the car need to deposit up to 2.5 billion VND, a very low amount compared to the value of the car. The car displayed at the launch event is a temporary import for re-export, not a car delivered to customers.

The Ferrari 296 GTS inherits the same power as the Ferrari 296 GTB supercar owned by a Hanoi tycoon, but has the advantage of having the roof that can be easily opened or closed in 14 seconds.

The process of opening/closing the hood of the new Ferrari 296 GTS launched in Vietnam is quite convenient because the Italian car company has integrated into the center console an additional button to open/close the hood and a small window lift/lower button.

Even if you are driving a Ferrari 296 GTS convertible on the street or along a coastal road and want to lower the roof, just press the button, but the speed recommended by Ferrari is under 45 km/h, to avoid unfortunate accidents to the car's roof when the car speed is too high.

In terms of design, the Ferrari 296 GTS convertible supercar does not have many changes compared to the Ferrari 296 GTB version. The ability to open/close the roof has forced the Italian car company to design more space to store the roof, which has made the car's weight 70 kg heavier than the Ferrari 296 GTB.

The Ferrari 296 GTS has a maximum capacity of 654 horsepower and a maximum torque of 425 Nm produced by a 2.9-liter, turbocharged V6 gasoline engine, like the Coupe version. In addition, an electric motor is installed between the internal combustion engine and the 8-speed gearbox, giving the convertible version of the car an additional maximum capacity of 164 horsepower and a maximum torque of 315 Nm.

Thanks to the plug-in hybrid powertrain, the Ferrari 296 GTS convertible supercar has a total capacity of 818 horsepower and a maximum torque of 740 Nm. This engine allows the car to accelerate from a standing start to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 330 km/h.
