FPT fully cooperates with Chelsea but does not sponsor shirts as previously rumored

On April 10, Chelsea FC announced a "comprehensive partnership" with FPT Corporation from Vietnam. However, contrary to previous speculations, FPT is not Chelsea's shirt sponsor.

In a press release, Chelsea FC introduced FPT Corporation as a leading technology company in Vietnam - specializing in supporting large corporations around the world in their digital transformation journey with services and solutions applying artificial intelligence (AI).

According to the announced cooperation, in addition to brand promotion, the Vietnamese technology group will accompany, analyze data and apply artificial intelligence to the Stamford Bridge team.

Thus, FPT is not the shirt sponsor for Chelsea as many sources previously reported. But this cooperation is of much larger scale.

Chelsea and FPT share a bold vision to innovate the way the club connects and engages with its growing global fan base – not just at the stadium but across a variety of digital platforms, wherever they are.

Speaking after confirming the cooperation between Chelsea and FPT, Mr. Todd Kline - Chelsea's commercial chairman - shared: "As Chelsea celebrates its 120th anniversary, we understand that our future is not only shaped by success on the pitch, but also by our ability to transform through technology."

According to Tuoi Tre Online , FPT Play is also in the process of negotiating the broadcasting rights for the most exciting top-flight football tournament this summer with the participation of Chelsea FC.
