The program aims to honor the beauty and value of the Vietnamese language, and at the same time, to express gratitude and encourage individuals and organizations that have made many contributions to spreading the Vietnamese language and culture in the Vietnamese community around the world . This is also a practical activity towards the Vietnamese Language Honor Day on September 8 every year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Nguyen Trung Kien happily welcomed leaders, representatives of ministries, departments, and more than 100 overseas Vietnamese from all over the world, including nearly 80 teachers and volunteers participating in the Vietnamese Language Teaching Training Course for Overseas Vietnamese Teachers organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese. He emphasized that with their love for their mother tongue and national pride, overseas Vietnamese have made constant efforts so that generations of Vietnamese people always feel close to their homeland's culture and roots, and the presence of teachers is a living proof of the continuous spread of the Vietnamese language.
According to Chairman of the Committee Nguyen Trung Kien, this year's program takes place on the occasion of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2 - brilliant milestones in the history of the nation. This is an opportunity for overseas Vietnamese around the world to further connect with their homeland, affirming that the overseas Vietnamese community is an inseparable part of the nation, a valuable resource for the country's development.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien affirmed: Vietnamese is like the river of the homeland, originating from the lullabies of parents, grandparents, from folk songs, proverbs, then gradually permeating the soul through poems, songs, historical lessons, constantly nurturing love for the homeland, country and spreading it with the children of Vietnam to all corners of the world. He expressed his belief that the overseas Vietnamese community will continue to preserve and cherish the Vietnamese language as the source of the soul, so that the "river of Vietnamese language" will forever flow through generations, nurturing souls, connecting hearts and spreading love.
Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Nguyen Trung Kien and Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU, presented awards to 06 excellent candidates who won the title of Vietnamese Ambassador in the Contest "Searching for Vietnamese Ambassadors in the Overseas Vietnamese Community in 2025", including Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong (Laos), Ms. Le Thuong (Japan), Ms. Hoang Thi Hong Ha (France), Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong (Germany), Mr. Nguyen Duy Anh (Japan), and Le Nguyen Luu An (Malaysia). These are typical faces who have made many contributions to preserving and spreading the Vietnamese language around the world, with stories and journeys of persistent efforts to spread the Vietnamese language in the Vietnamese community around the world.

Ms. Hoang Thi Hong Ha, Vietnamese Ambassador Abroad 2025, shared that for every Vietnamese person, no matter where they are, Vietnamese is always a bridge to their homeland; she believes that learning Vietnamese is not only learning the language, but also learning to love the national cultural identity, love the country, and every Vietnamese person abroad will be an ambassador, a seed spreading the beauty of Vietnamese to the world. Le Nguyen Luu An, the youngest Vietnamese Ambassador, expressed that Vietnamese is the language that helps him communicate and connect with his family. He also hopes to continue to contribute to preserving and spreading Vietnamese to the community.
The Gala program brought to the audience many unique art performances, honoring the rich beauty of Vietnamese culture and language, along with authentic reports recording the journey of preserving and spreading the Vietnamese language of overseas Vietnamese all over the world.
