“Kind Vietnam” Gala marks 10 years of spreading kindness and goodness

The TV program "Kindness" produced by the Center for Digital Content Production and Development (VTV Digital) of Vietnam Television has had a 10-year journey of connecting hearts.

The program has traveled to 63 provinces and cities, more than 15 countries around the world , more than 1,500 trips and especially honored more than 2,500 people across the country. Regardless of age, profession or social status, the only thing they have in common is a kind heart, community-oriented actions and an unconditional love for those around them.

The 10th Anniversary Gala of “Kind Deeds” with the theme “Kind Vietnam” featured more than 100 prominent figures, representing thousands of examples of kindness that have appeared on the “Kind Deeds” program.

The program includes 3 chapters: "Small things extraordinary", "Family", "Country", the audience will meet the characters and update on their positive changes.

Some examples include Mr. Nguyen Trung Chat - the father with the most children in Vietnam; Mr. Tran Van Thang - the father with the "Book of thanks for life"; the mother of Lieutenant Colonel, Doctor Nguyen Le Trung who vowed to donate her corneas after her death; Mrs. Binh - the woman whose child was once left overnight by a homeowner, but no one came back to pick her up, and raised the little girl for 21 years with all the love of a mother...

The Gala is also very special with the story of the campaign "Forest of Kindness" launched by the program, after only 1 week, it received more than 10,000 seedlings. Mong ethnic boy Sung A Cai will receive the seedlings to carry out the project "Dream of a million green trees" to light up hope for the forests in Yen Bai .

Music is also an indispensable part of the program's 10-year journey and this gala features many famous and beloved artists who have accompanied the program such as Den, Van Mai Huong, Lam Phuc, Hien VK...

Emotional songs such as “Going Home”, “Kindness – Anyone Can Do” and especially “Kindness Vietnam” were played, connecting millions of Vietnamese hearts. At the gala, musician Minh Ca Ri dedicated the program to the song “There is a Word of Love” inspired by stories of kindness.

The "Kind Vietnam" Gala is not only a journey to look back at 10 years of the program but also the beginning of actions from good things on television to kind acts in everyday life.
