Gamuda Scholarship has been developed by Gamuda Group in Malaysia since 1996, giving wings to young Malaysian talents to continue their studies locally and globally. More than just financial support, the scholarship program provides a comprehensive foundation for a brighter future, providing leadership training and job placement at Gamuda.
Mr. Firdauz Othman, Consul General of Malaysia in Ho Chi Minh City, and representatives of Thu Duc City People's Council, Ho Chi Minh City took souvenir photos with excellent students receiving scholarships.
The scholarship is open to students studying engineering, construction management, property and real estate management, architecture, environmental science and sustainability, biodiversity management, finance and accounting, business studies, business administration, and human resource management. With more than 100 applications submitted to the program, and after a review and interview period, Gamuda Land Vietnam has awarded scholarships to 5 students who meet the criteria.
Mr. Angus Liew, Chairman of the Board of Members of Gamuda Land Vietnam said: "As a responsible urban developer, over the past 27 years, Gamuda Land has awarded hundreds of scholarships to students in Malaysia. This is the first time the program has been expanded in Vietnam, and we hope that this foundational step will continue to nurture and develop other young talents in this locality for many years to come.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut, Deputy Head of the Social and Cultural Committee, Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, highly appreciated Gamuda Land Vietnam's contribution in its efforts to find and nurture young Vietnamese talents, providing timely support and encouragement to them on their journey to conquer knowledge.
