According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, from June 15 to 18, a famtrip delegation from Thailand consisting of 12 representatives of leading travel companies visited and surveyed many prominent destinations in Da Nang and neighboring areas.
The experience itinerary includes Sun World Ba Na Hills, Hoi An ancient town, Da Nang Museum and high-class beach resorts such as Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center.
The program aims to strengthen connections with Thai partners and build tour products targeting high-end tourists .
Next, from June 20 to 23, Da Nang continued to welcome a European famtrip delegation with 16 members from key markets such as the UK, Germany, Italy, Russia, etc. The delegation arrived in the city via Emirates flight and had the opportunity to experience many unique cultural and tourism activities such as the DIFF 2025 International Fireworks Festival, visiting Sun World Ba Na Hills, Hoi An ancient town, and My Son temple complex.
In addition, the delegation also stayed at luxury resorts such as Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Premier Village Danang Resort, Hoiana Golf & Resort and participated in B2B trade connection activities with local tourism businesses to build tour products suitable for the European market.
This is considered an important promotional activity to promote the image of Da Nang as a safe, friendly and attractive destination for international tourists.
The event is also an opportunity for international travel businesses to better understand the potential, diversity and quality of tourism services of the coastal city in Central Vietnam.

The opening of the Dubai - Bangkok - Da Nang route from June 2, 2025 is an important milestone, opening a strategic bridge between Da Nang and potential markets such as Europe and Southeast Asia.
“These famtrip programs will help partners better understand the potential and quality of Da Nang’s tourism services, thereby promoting opportunities for sustainable cooperation,” said Ms. An.
Sharing his feelings after the survey trip, Mr. Sayed Shariq Shah - representative of Moresand company (part of the European famtrip delegation) said:
“We were really impressed with the experiences during our survey trip in Da Nang, from the natural landscape, cultural heritage to the quality of service at high-end resorts.
The famtrip delegation wishes to have more time to continue exploring more destinations in the city and surrounding areas. We emphasize the important role of local DMCs (Destination Management Companies) in building specialized, high-quality tourism products that suit the tastes of European tourists."
