Approval of the script for the parade and march commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision No. 2977/QD-BVHTTDL approving the script for the parade and march commemorating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Based on Decision No. 12-QD/BCDTW dated June 10, 2025, of the Central Steering Committee for the commemoration of major national holidays and important events in the three years 2023-2025, approving the overall plan for activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); Following the proposal of the Director of the Department of Performing Arts, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a Decision approving the Script for the Commemoration Ceremony of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Accordingly, the program for the 80th anniversary celebration of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) will include activities such as: the "Traditional Torch Relay"; the Flag-raising Ceremony; and a parade program including: an air salute; parades of various groups in the following order: parade of ceremonial blocks, parade of pedestrian blocks, the Vietnam People's Army blocks first, then foreign army blocks, then militia and guerrilla blocks, and police blocks. This Decision takes effect from the date of signing. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests the Chief of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Performing Arts Department, the Director of the Planning and Finance Department, and the heads of relevant agencies and units to be responsible for implementing this Decision.
