Highlights of the Ministry of Science and Technology exhibition: "Robots, chips, UAVs Made in Vietnam" show off their talents

On August 16, many advanced “Make in Vietnam” technology products, from robots, semiconductor chips to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), were introduced at an exhibition on the sidelines of the Party Congress of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

At the event, delegates were able to admire a series of smart home devices from startup VConnex, including switches, motion sensors, smoke sensors, door locks, smart sockets and surveillance camera systems.

The UAV segment attracted attention with many outstanding products: the human-carrying UAV model of CT Group; the Hera drone developed by Dr. Luong Viet Quoc, has a compact design that fits in a backpack but can carry up to 15 kg.

The semiconductor sector has made its mark with chip products designed by Vietnamese enterprises: Viettel's 5G chip;FPT Semiconductor's power-saving power IC; and MK Group's ID card chip.

In parallel, FPT brings the Smart AI Cabin system, a digital cockpit solution for cars.

In the robot group, Alpha Asimov - Vietnam's first self-driving delivery vehicle - was demonstrated with the ability to move 15-25 km/h, payload of 50 kg, integrated GPS and sensors.

Many humanoid robot models serve in medicine, education , and tourism.

The exhibition also features other key technology products such as the "Make in

"Viettel Vietnam" - a complete solution for telecommunications networks.

Model of a 500 kV power transformer with a capacity of 3x300 MVA - a milestone for Vietnam in mastering the technology of manufacturing large capacity transformers, along with models of oil rigs and close-range sea surveillance radars.

The Make in Vietnam strategy, initiated in 2019, has created a strong push for the digital industry. After 5 years of implementation, the proportion of Vietnamese value in the total revenue of the ICT industry has increased nearly 1.5 times, affirming the significant progress of domestic technology enterprises./.
