Nearly 10,000 candidates skipped completing procedures to take the 2025 high school graduation exam

(Dan Tri) - On the afternoon of June 25, only 1.15 million out of a total of 1.16 million candidates came to complete procedures to take the high school graduation exam at nearly 2,500 exam sites nationwide.

According to data from the Ministry of Education and Training , this afternoon 1,152,336 candidates went to complete exam procedures, reaching a rate of 99.16%.

Of these, 22,140 candidates took the 2006 general education program, accounting for 88.73%; 1,130,196 candidates took the 2018 general education program, accounting for 99.54%.

Tomorrow, candidates will take the first exam of the 2025 high school graduation exam, which is literature. This is also the only essay exam of this year's exam.

1.16 million candidates is a record number for the high school graduation exam. Compared to last year, the number of candidates increased by about 95,000, the number of exam scores increased by 170 points, and the number of exam rooms increased by 5,000.

It is expected that about 200,000 personnel will be mobilized to participate in the exam organization work, such as officials, teachers in the education sector, police, military, medical, electricity forces, etc.

In Hanoi alone, the number of candidates taking the exam is about 126,000. The whole city has 4 exam sites for candidates taking the exam according to the old program.
