Nearly 200 manhole covers with a diameter of about 70cm, worth billions of VND, have "evaporated" without a trace. When night falls, with no lights or warning signs, they become death traps, waiting for passersby. This is not the first time the theft has occurred on this route. This is an organized, reckless act, challenging the law and disregarding people's lives and public property. Local people have requested the authorities and functional agencies of Quang Tri province to take urgent measures: barricades, warnings, replacements to protect people's lives; investigate and strictly handle violators. Consider the responsibility of investors, local authorities and security forces in the area.
