Nearly 300 doctors and volunteers from Dong Nai province have been sent to provide medical examination and treatment to people in flooded areas.

On the morning of November 25, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province held a ceremony to launch a working group to strengthen support for people in Dak Lak province in medical examination and treatment, and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and floods.

Promoting the tradition of mutual love and support, with a sense of responsibility and deep affection for the people of the whole country, Dong Nai province established a working group of 293 people led by Director of Dong Nai Department of Health Do Thi Nguyen, including medical staff, doctors, medical workers; youth union members; Red Cross and volunteer forces bringing medicine, specialized equipment, medical supplies and many gifts and essential necessities to support the people of Dak Lak province to overcome the current difficulties.

In recent days, due to the impact of storms and rains, Dak Lak province has suffered many losses in terms of human lives and property, and people's lives have encountered many difficulties, especially in remote areas. Dong Nai people always follow and share the losses and damages that people in flood-affected areas are having to endure.

The delegation went to Hoa My, Tay Hoa, Hoa Thinh, Son Thanh, Tuy An Dong communes (former An Thach, An Ninh Tay, An Ninh Dong areas) and Duc Binh commune of Dak Lak province to support the people.

On this occasion, Dong Nai province assigned the Department of Health of Dong Nai province as the leading agency to organize and coordinate scientifically and closely all activities of the working group; ensure safety in travel, accommodation, and daily activities; develop a plan for medical examination, medicine provision, and health consultation suitable to the actual conditions at each destination, ensuring effectiveness, practicality, and no formality.

Hospitals, the Provincial Center for Disease Control, Dong Nai Medical College and the team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and students must strictly comply with professional procedures, promote the highest sense of responsibility; focus on caring for, examining, providing medicine and health consultation for people. Members promote the spirit of solidarity, support each other, ensure discipline and order throughout the process of performing tasks.

Dong Nai province also requested the Youth Union, Red Cross and volunteer forces to promote the spirit of initiative, creativity and flexibility in organizing activities to support people, visit and encourage households that suffered heavy losses; support temporary accommodation arrangements, environmental sanitation, distribution of gifts and necessities; organize sharing activities, encourage children and the disadvantaged so that people can feel the warm sharing from Dong Nai.

In addition to medical examination and treatment activities and material relief, Dong Nai province sends to the people of Dak Lak a message of faith and optimism, always having the whole country and Dong Nai by their side, ready to share, together overcome difficulties, soon stabilize life, and restore production.

On the same day, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, Comrade Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province, presented 10 billion VND to Dak Lak province to support overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and floods. At the same time, he also presented 1 billion VND to support families of police officers; 1 billion VND to support families of soldiers of the Central Highlands Mobile Police Regiment and 500 million VND to support families of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command affected by natural disasters and floods.
