Right at the place where the rally gathered to spread out across the city, to carry out the August Revolution in Hanoi 80 years ago, today, August 8, nearly 600 women performed in ao dai, formed the national flag, and sang the national anthem.

The activity has the theme "Brightening the country - Proud of heritage - Spreading Vietnamese culture", organized by the Hanoi Ao Dai Heritage Club, under the direction of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Association.

In addition to the meaning of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the activity also has the meaning of welcoming the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association, term 2025-2030, taking place on August 8 in Hanoi, as well as celebrating the 1st anniversary of the establishment of the Hanoi Ao Dai Heritage Club.

600 women wearing bright red and yellow ao dai, forming the national flag at the place where the August Revolution broke out exactly 80 years ago, created great emotion for the witnesses.

Especially the moment before the national flag, the National Anthem resounded, recalling the atmosphere of the General Uprising in the revolutionary autumn 80 years ago.

Miss Dam Huong Thuy - permanent vice president of the Hanoi Ao Dai Heritage Club, expressed the presence and dedication in this meaningful event of nearly 600 women from Hanoi and many provinces across the country, even many women returning from abroad, is proof that: no matter where they are, Vietnamese people always turn to the Fatherland.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam - President of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club, said that the event not only inspires love for the country during the special time of preparing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, but also the love for the national costume will spread, inspiring future generations.
