The family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, group 25, Bac Cuong ward started their summer vacation with a picnic in Sa Pa to relax together after a series of stressful days of studying and working. To foster andeducate love among family members, Ms. Trang and her husband also maintain collective activities at home such as cooking together and sharing housework.

“During summer vacation, I take the opportunity to teach my children simple tasks such as washing rice, picking vegetables, and cooking simple dishes. The atmosphere in the house is therefore more cheerful and cozy, and my children are more confident when working with their mother, especially when the dishes are praised by the whole family,” Trang shared.
Mr. Le Anh Duong, Trang's husband (chess coach) added: When the children are on summer vacation, without the pressure of books, I let them join chess classes taught by me. Thanks to that, they can both study and play with their friends and have more time to talk with their father to understand each other better.
At the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Thu, group 14, Nam Cuong ward, the summer vacation atmosphere also became bustling from the very first days.
Ms. Thu shared: The children have gone through a very stressful school year, so when the summer vacation comes, my husband and I want to spend more time taking care of them. At the same time, teach them necessary life skills, helping them improve themselves.

Instead of letting her children just play with their phones or watch TV, Ms. Thu encourages them to participate in simple but connecting activities, such as cleaning the house, cooking, taking care of younger siblings... According to her, summer vacation is the ideal time for children to learn more life skills, thereby knowing how to share work with their parents and cherishing moments with their family.
Instead of letting their children spend the summer with electronic devices, many families have proactively created spaces for their children to experience, practice skills, and bond with their parents through small things. These are not only fun summer days, but also a valuable time for children to understand the value of work and family affection - sustainable provisions for future development.
