On the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2005 - November 23, 2025), on the afternoon of November 23, Ha Tinh Cultural Heritage Association organized a meeting with artists, artisans, and members who have contributed to the cause of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values of Nghe An and organized an introduction of new books by author Phan Thu Hien.


At the meeting, delegates affirmed the special role of cultural heritage in community life and acknowledged the contributions of artists, artisans, and members of the Ha Tinh Provincial Cultural Heritage Association who have always strived and continuously devoted their talents and intelligence to preserving, conserving, transmitting and spreading the precious heritage values of their homeland.

In Ha Tinh, with the tradition of a land with a long history, over hundreds of years, previous generations have created and passed on to the present a treasure trove of unique cultural heritage with all types such as historical - cultural relics, scenic spots, folk songs, festivals, cultural heritage, documentary heritage...

Researchers, artisans, artists, and members of the Cultural Heritage Association of Ha Tinh province are the ones who light the fire and bridge the heritage from the past to the present and into the future.

On this occasion, author Phan Thu Hien - Head of the Ha Tinh Province Folk Arts Association introduced new books: Traditional cultural and artistic forms with Tale of Kieu, volumes 1 and 2; Folk cultural and artistic forms originating from Tale of Kieu and Those who keep the soul of Nghe An homeland. These are elaborate research works on folk culture compiled by author Phan Thu Hien, contributing significantly to arousing pride in heritage, helping to identify and consolidate traditional cultural values of Nghe Tinh.

Author Phan Thu Hien was born in 1959 in Bui Xa commune, Duc Tho district, now Duc Thinh commune, Ha Tinh province, in a family with a long tradition of literary and artistic activities. She has spent more than 40 years persistently and wholeheartedly contributing to the cause of preserving and promoting cultural heritages in Ha Tinh, especially passionate about folk performing arts such as Vi Giam folk songs, Ca Tru, Tro Kieu, Sac Bua...
Up to now, she has published more than 30 books and has received many noble awards and prizes: the President awarded the Third Class Labor Medal, many Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province...
