This is also the first step for young people who want to get deeper into the field of applied science and professional robotics competitions.
GART Robotics Camp 2025 is a program that Ams Robotics Team carries out in every step, from coming up with ideas, building lesson plans, finding locations, completing documents, to directly teaching, managing logistics, as well as communication.
This year's summer camp welcomed nearly 60 members aged 11-15 from many high schools in Hanoi, demonstrating the influence of an educational project led by young people themselves.

At GART Robotics Camp, during a day of activities, children participate in theoretical lessons combined with direct practice on robot models prepared by the Organizing Committee.
Students are guided step by step to conceptualize, design, assemble and program a complete, fully functional robot.
Notably, the teaching staff at the summer camp are all members of Robotics teams that have participated and won many prestigious awards in international arenas.
Sharing about the process of preparing teaching content for the summer camp, Hoang Tuan Khoi, Head of Content for GART Robotics Camp 2025 said: “Our main reference materials are lesson plans from previous camps, along with professional guidance from former club members. However, this year's entire lesson plan has been adjusted by us to suit all students of different ages in the summer camp.”
According to Khoi, one of the key factors in designing a seamless five-day program is maintaining close communication between members of the content team.
To achieve the perfect quality and ensure the program runs smoothly, the organizing committee had to go through a continuous editing and rehearsal process for a whole month. It was thanks to this effort that the program was approved and officially applied.
In addition to the goal of creating memorable experiences for campers like other summer camps, GART Robotics Camp 2025 also aims to develop knowledge thinking, as well as ignite the passion for STEM and Robotics for campers.
Nguyen Huy Anh, a 12th grade student of Physics 2 at Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, President of GreenAms Robotics Team and Head of the Organizing Committee of GART Robotics Camp 2025 shared: “One of the biggest pressures for us is how we can convey our passion for STEAM to the campers, as well as how to ensure the quality of the lectures throughout the event, giving the children the best experiences about Robotics”.
An important highlight of GART Robotics Camp 2025 is the cooperation with the American Center - an international unit with high requirements on procedures, processes and operating standards.
Nguyen Duc Thang, a student of grade 11 Physics 2, Deputy organizer in charge of business, said: "In addition to preparing event documents and agreeing on lesson plans with the center, we also have to manage human resources and constantly update information so that the program runs smoothly."
Nguyen Thac Nguyen, a 12th grader who served as the Vice-Organizer last year and now returns as the club’s business advisor and Head of Communications, shares his passion: “What I want most is not to achieve more or stand out from last year, but for you to maintain the core spirit: a free and inspiring Robotics summer camp, where kids can learn and confidently pursue this field.”
Nguyen also commented that, although the members of the Organizing Committee are all highly capable, they still need to learn how to coordinate effectively and share responsibilities more reasonably in group work to achieve the highest efficiency.
Ong Hai Ha, 15 years old, a student at the Pedagogical Secondary and High School (Hanoi National University of Education 2), is one of the first campers to participate after learning about the program from the US Embassy's Facebook page. He shared: "I learned a lot of useful knowledge about Robotics and programming at the summer camp. The instructors were extremely enthusiastic and easy to understand. My group had a lot of fun working."
Not only does it impart technological knowledge, GART Robotics Camp 2025 has created a unique educational model organized and led by the students themselves.
Through this, it is once again affirmed that the generation of Vietnamese students is completely capable of mastering science and technology playgrounds, not only within the national scope but also reaching the international level.
