(GLO)- The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just announced the list of national intangible cultural heritage for "Folk knowledge of raising and processing Dong Tao chicken" (Dong Tao commune, Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province) on June 10.

Dong Tao chicken breed has a long history in Dong Tao commune. This is a rare breed of chicken, which is said to have been used as an offering to the king, or as an offering during ceremonies and festivals. The outstanding features of Dong Tao chicken are its large, rough legs and large weight.
