Robusta Coffee Price London May 1, 2025

On the London floor, at 4:30 a.m. on May 1, 2025, at the end of the trading session, Robusta coffee prices suddenly increased again, increasing from 53 - 71 USD/ton compared to yesterday morning's trading session, fluctuating from 5,073 - 5,423 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery price for July 2025 is 5,369 USD/ton; the delivery price for September 2025 is 5,316 USD/ton; the delivery price for November 2025 is 5,243 USD/ton and the delivery price for January 2026 is 5,155 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee price on New York floor on May 1, 2025

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor early on May 1 was green and increased slightly, increasing from 0.95 - 1.75 cents/lb compared to yesterday, fluctuating from 372.95 - 407.10 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period in July 2025 is 400.75 cents/lb; the delivery period in September 2025 is 393.35 cents/lb; the delivery period in December 2025 is 383.95 cents/lb and the delivery period in March 2026 is 376.95 cents/lb.

Brazilian Arabica Coffee Price on May 1, 2025

At the end of the trading session, the price of Brazilian Arabica coffee tended to increase - decrease across delivery terms, fluctuating between 467.00 - 521.90 USD/ton. Recorded as follows: May 2025 delivery period is 517.90 USD/ton; July 2025 delivery period is 505.70 USD/ton; September 2025 delivery period is 480.95 and December 2025 delivery period is 469.95 USD/ton.

Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day) Vietnam time. Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day) Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.

According to information from Giacaphe.com, updated at 4:30 a.m. today, May 1, 2025, coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces remained stable and remained high compared to yesterday's trading session. Currently, the average purchase price is at 130,700 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 130,800 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 130,200 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 130,700 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 130,800 VND/kg.

In Vietnam, dry weather has also affected the quality and yield of the harvest. The global coffee market is at risk of a shortage, especially for Robusta coffee, Vietnam's main crop.

In the first quarter of 2025, domestic coffee prices fluctuated above 130,000 VND/kg, creating opportunities for the industry to grow in revenue and profit, but also posing challenges in risk management.

The coffee market remains in a supply-high price trend, with little room for a major correction unless there is a major change from Brazil or Indonesia. Exporters should consider closing deals early while prices remain favorable, while farmers should closely monitor weather conditions to optimize sales timing.
