Robusta Coffee Price London August 4, 2025

The London Robusta coffee market recorded a flat trend across all major trading terms. The 09/2025 futures contract remained at $3,330/ton.
The following terms also recorded: 11/2025 remained at 3,259 USD/ton, 01/2026 at 3,216 USD/ton, 03/2026 remained unchanged at 3,180 USD/ton and 05/2026 at 3,151 USD/ton.
New York Arabica Coffee Price August 4, 2025

Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor on August 4, 2025 recorded stable developments in trading terms. The nearest term in September 2025 remained at 300.95 cents/lb.
The following maturities such as December 2025 and March 2026 also maintained the same price at 284.2 cents and 277.55 cents, respectively. Further maturities such as May 2026 and July 2026 also recorded 271 cents and 265.9 cents, respectively.
Global coffee prices are recovering after hitting a 16-month low, but the market is experiencing major volatility due to tariff decisions from the Trump administration.
The reciprocal tax rate for Vietnamese coffee has been adjusted down from 46% to 20%. This could bring a competitive advantage to Vietnamese coffee in the US market.
The world's top coffee producer is facing a 50% tariff on imports to the United States starting August 6. Brazil's vice president said the government is working to persuade the United States to reduce the tariff, warning that American consumers will bear the additional cost. The high tariff is estimated to affect about 35.9% of Brazil's exports to the United States.

Domestic coffee prices on August 4, 2025 also remained stable, current coffee prices have not changed, fluctuating around 99,200 - 99,500 VND/kg.

Specifically:
In Dak Lak, today's coffee price is 99,500 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
In Lam Dong, today's coffee price is 99,200 VND/kg, no change compared to yesterday.
In Gia Lai, coffee prices today are stable at 99,400 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
In Dak Nong (old, now about to merge with Lam Dong), there was no change recorded, today's coffee price is 99,500 VND/kg, the highest price today.
Domestic coffee prices in Vietnam are on an upward trend due to supply concerns. Traders say the main reason is the possibility of a drought in the Central Highlands region, which will affect output.
Farmers are holding back on coffee sales and waiting for prices to rise further. A trader in Dak Lak said that if prices exceed VND100,000/kg, more supply may be pushed onto the market.
In addition, the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA) has proposed to the Government to include exported green coffee beans in the list of products exempted from VAT. This is to reduce financial pressure and complicated procedures for exporting enterprises, because currently most VAT is refunded.
