Pig price in the North

In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today decreased by 1,000 VND/kg in many localities, purchasing at around 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Lang Son, Bac Ninh, Hanoi , Phu Tho and Hai Phong all reduced by 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the price of live pigs in these localities to 68,000 VND/kg.

The remaining localities traded at a stable level.

Pig price in the Central Highlands

Pork prices in the Central Highlands region today continued to record downward adjustments in many provinces and cities, currently being purchased at 66,000 - 70,000 VND/kg.

Accordingly, pork prices in localities such as Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Khanh Hoa all decreased by VND 1,000/kg, currently trading at VND 68,000/kg.

With the same decrease, the price of live pigs in Ha Tinh and Quang Ngai dropped to 67,000 VND/kg.

Meanwhile, localities still maintain the old price level today.

Pig price in the South

The live hog market in the South also slightly decreased in some provinces and cities, currently the purchase price fluctuates between 69,000 - 71,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, pig prices in Dong Thap, An Giang and Can Tho all decreased by VND1,000/kg, bringing the price of live pigs down to VND69,000/kg.

While the remaining provinces did not record new price fluctuations.
