Northern pig price
In the Northern market, today (September 27), the price of live pigs has not changed, remaining unchanged after a period of continuous increase. Currently, traders in this area are purchasing at a price of around 68,000 - 70,000 VND/kg. Nam Dinh currently has the lowest price in the region, trading at 68,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in Central Highlands
In the Central Highlands, Quang Binh is the only locality with price adjustments this morning, with an increase of VND 1,000/kg, reaching VND 66,000/kg. The price of live pigs in this region fluctuates from VND 64,000 - 69,000/kg.
Southern pig price
According to the survey results, the price of live pigs in the southern provinces remains stable, fluctuating from 64,000 - 67,000 VND/kg. Provinces such as Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Dong Thap currently have the highest purchase price, reaching 67,000 VND/kg. On the other hand, the provinces of Long An, Kien Giang, Tien Giang, Bac Lieu , Tra Vinh and Soc Trang have the lowest price, at 64,000 VND/kg.
The average price of live pigs nationwide is currently 66,800 VND/kg. In the context of the livestock industry in the Northern provinces suffering a lot of damage due to storms and floods, farms and households here are gradually recovering production and restocking. The price of piglets in this area increased by 10,000 VND/head (from 7 - 10kg), currently at 1.89 million VND/head. In the Central provinces, the price of piglets is 1.59 million VND/head and in the South it is 1.62 million VND/head.
