Used iPhone 16 Pro Max prices drop sharply in Vietnam

During the low season, the domestic mobile market becomes gloomy due to the lack of flagship products launched. However, this is considered a favorable time for users to buy devices at reasonable prices, as dealers continuously adjust prices to stimulate sales.

In the unofficial market, used hand-carried iPhones are also constantly being adjusted in price. The reduction ranges from 1-2 million VND, depending on the version and color.

Specifically, used iPhone 16 Pro Max is being offered by stores at a price of 25.5 million VND for the 256GB version, a decrease of 1 million VND compared to last month. This price is currently about 5 million VND lower than a new genuine device with the same memory capacity.

Meanwhile, the standard used iPhone 16 costs from 21 million VND for the 128GB version, about 4 million VND lower than the genuine device.

The used iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus duo are also being sold for VND16 million and VND18 million respectively. The above prices may vary by a few hundred thousand VND depending on the color version and warranty policy of each dealer.

According to stores, most of the used iPhone 16s are currently hand-carried from the US market (code LL/A). The limitation of these devices is that they are not equipped with a physical SIM slot, so users can only use eSIM on the device.

"Currently, used hand-carried iPhones are not as popular as before. However, with a price 4-5 million VND cheaper than genuine devices, this product line still attracts a certain segment of users," said Mr. Nguyen Van Giau - representative of the My Mobile system.

It should be noted that the quality of used iPhones can be uneven. Therefore, users should prioritize choosing reputable dealers or retail systems to ensure warranty and after-sales policies.

In the official segment, the selling price of the iPhone 16 series is also being adjusted down deeply. Specifically, the standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max are currently priced from 25 million VND and 30.6 million VND, respectively. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are also listed at 19 million VND and 22.2 million VND.

"After many adjustments, the iPhone 16 product line still retains great appeal to Vietnamese consumers. Of which, the iPhone 16 accounts for about 55% of total sales, followed by the iPhone 16 Pro Max with about 25%. The two iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models have sales almost equivalent to their predecessors," said a representative of the Minh Tuan Mobile system.
