Gia Lai ranked 4/63 in component index 3 on the leadership role of provincial government in promoting Green practices.

This is the third time VCCI has organized the PGI assessment to synthesize the opinions of the business community into a common voice on environmental policies for policy makers at both national and local levels.

The PGI consists of four sub-indices: Minimizing environmental pollution and negative impacts of climate change; ensuring compliance with minimum environmental standards; the leadership role of provincial authorities in promoting Green practices; policies and services to support businesses in environmental protection. Each sub-indice is given an equal weight of 25%, with a maximum total score of 40 points for the PGI.
