World gold price today June 3, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:30 am today, Vietnam time, was at 3,373.04 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is unchanged compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (26,233 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 106.6 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is about 11.2 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

World gold prices increased by more than 2%, reaching the highest level in more than three weeks, in the context of a weakening US dollar along with geopolitical risks and economic instability causing investors to rush to find safe assets.
The dollar index (DXY) fell 0.7% against a basket of major currencies, making gold cheaper for holders of other currencies. Meanwhile, stocks fell as U.S.-China trade tensions escalated, while investors braced for a volatile week of economic and political news, including a key U.S. jobs report and the possibility of an expected rate cut by the European Central Bank.
Investors are also closely watching comments from Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell and other officials this week for clues on the path of U.S. interest rates. Gold typically benefits in a low-interest-rate environment and when geopolitical tensions rise.
“Amid renewed trade concerns, fiscal uncertainty and the US debt ceiling risk, the current environment is very volatile. For the gold price outlook, this environment of risk aversion and fiscal uncertainty is extremely favorable,” said Fawad Razaqzada, market analyst at City Index and FOREX.com.
Spot silver rose 4.1% to $34.31 an ounce. Platinum rose 0.3% to $1,059.55 and palladium rose 1.2% to $982.40.
