The price of gold rings of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) increased sharply. The price of PNJ gold rings bought and sold in Ho Chi Minh City ended today's session at 56.3-57.5 million VND/tael, an increase of 100 thousand VND/tael for buying and 200 thousand VND/tael for selling compared to yesterday's session.
From yesterday to today, PNJ gold ring price has increased by 200 thousand VND/tael for buying and increased by 400 thousand VND/tael for selling.
Similarly, the price of Doji Gold and Gemstone Group's gold rings also increased rapidly today, regaining the mark of 57 million VND/tael (selling).
At the end of today's session, Doji traded the price of gold rings at 55.95-57 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 150 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to the end of yesterday's session.
Over 2 sessions (yesterday and today), Doji's gold ring price increased by 200,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions.
The price of gold rings of Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC) also increased.
At the end of today's session, the price of 1-5 chi 9999 SJC gold rings was listed in Ho Chi Minh City at 56.3-57.25 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 200 thousand VND/tael in the buying direction and an increase of 100 thousand VND/tael in the selling direction compared to the closing price yesterday.
SJC bought and sold 9999 gold rings of 0.5 chi at 56.3-57.35 million VND/tael, also increasing 200 thousand VND/tael in buying price and increasing 100 thousand VND/tael in selling price compared to yesterday's closing price.
From yesterday to today, the price of SJC 9999 gold rings has increased by 300 thousand VND/tael for buying and increased by 200 thousand VND/tael for selling.
In line with the trend of gold ring price, SJC gold bar price today increased quite strongly. At the end of today's session, SJC gold bar price increased by 150 thousand VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to the end of yesterday's session.
Meanwhile, Doji's gold bar price in Hanoi increased by VND200,000/tael in buying price but remained unchanged in selling price; Doji's gold bar price in Ho Chi Minh City today remained unchanged compared to yesterday's closing price.

In the world market , gold prices today reached a 3-week peak due to the decrease in the USD.
At 4:49 p.m. today (August 31, Vietnam time), the world spot gold price was at 1,944.4 USD/ounce, up 7.4 USD/ounce compared to last night.
World gold converted at the current exchange rate at Vietcombank is priced at over VND56.82 million/tael (excluding taxes and fees). SJC gold bar price is VND11.45 million/tael higher than the international gold price.
