Airfare prices increase sharply on September 2nd holiday

Along with the parade, march, and activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd, the demand for air tickets for the route Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi and many other localities is very high, pushing prices up sharply.

Airfare prices increase sharply on September 2nd holiday

Although the holiday is still more than half a month away, as of today, round-trip tickets departing from Ho Chi Minh City on August 30 and returning from Hanoi on September 3 on many airlines cost from 5.2 to 7.032 million VND.

This price is as high as the ticket price for the Lunar New Year 2025 and increased from 1.7 to nearly 3 million VND compared to normal days. At the same time, airfare to coastal tourist destinations such as Nha Trang, Da Nang... also increased.

To meet the increased travel demand, airlines have increased flight frequencies for peak routes, equivalent to 18 - 20% capacity compared to normal days.
