World oil prices today
World oil prices fell across the board in today's trading session, July 19 (Vietnam time). WTI crude oil was at $80.59/barrel, down $0.71/barrel, or 0.87%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at $81.30/barrel and opened today's session at $80.87/barrel.
Brent crude oil was at $84.56 a barrel, down $0.26 a barrel, or 0.31 percent. Brent crude oil closed the previous session at $84.81 a barrel and opened today's session at $84.81 a barrel.
According to Reuters, at the ministerial meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) scheduled to take place in early August, it is unlikely that there will be any recommendations to change the group's oil production policy, including the plan to start removing crude oil production cuts from October.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On July 19, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities currently applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of July 18. Accordingly, the price of E5 RON92 bio-gasoline decreased by 110 VND/liter and RON95 gasoline decreased by 120 VND/liter. Oil products had higher reductions, of which, kerosene decreased by more than 370 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 330 VND/liter and mazut decreased by 110 VND/kg.

Discount prices of petroleum products today, July 19, at some domestic petroleum dealers are as follows:
Pvoil applies discount rates on July 19: Oil discount 1,450 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,450 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,450 VND/liter. This discount rate is applied at Pvoil Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec An Hai, Cai Lan warehouse.
Tu Luc Petroleum discounts on July 19 as follows: Oil discount: 1,400 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,400 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,300 VND/liter.
MIPEC gasoline discount on July 19: Oil discount: 1,400 VND/liter.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices next period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. It is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, petroleum prices will have mixed adjustments.
Since the beginning of the year, since the price adjustment session on January 4, gasoline prices have increased 16 times and decreased 13 times. Oil prices have increased 15 times and decreased 14 times.
