World oil prices today
World oil prices fell across the board in today's trading session, July 31 (Vietnam time). WTI crude oil was at $75.59/barrel, up $0.86/barrel, or 1.15%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at $74.73/barrel and opened today's session at $75.25/barrel.
Brent crude oil was at $78.81 a barrel, up $74, or 0.95%. Brent crude oil closed the previous session at $78.07 a barrel and opened today at $78.54 a barrel.
A ceasefire with Hamas could cut the risk premium for oil by $4 to $7, analysts say. OPEC+ ministers meet tomorrow to review the market, including plans to start easing some production cuts from October.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On July 31, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities currently applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail prices of gasoline and oil were adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of July 26. Accordingly, the price of E5 gasoline decreased by 270 VND/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by 290 VND/liter; diesel oil was also adjusted down by 310 VND/liter; kerosene price decreased by 340 VND/liter.
Gasoline discount today
Discount prices of petroleum products today, July 31, at some domestic petroleum dealers are as follows:
Pvoil applies discount rates on July 31: Oil discount 1,900 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,750 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,550 VND/liter. This discount rate is applied at Pvoil Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec An Hai, Cai Lan warehouse.
Tu Luc Petroleum discounts on July 31 as follows: Oil discount: 1,850 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,700 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,500 VND/liter.
MIPEC gasoline discount on July 31: 95-III gasoline: 1,500; E5 gasoline: 1,400; oil: 1,900 VND/liter
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices next period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. It is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, petroleum prices will continue to decrease. Of which, gasoline may decrease by 200-300 VND/liter.
Since the beginning of the year, since the price adjustment session on January 4, gasoline prices have increased 16 times and decreased 14 times. Oil prices have increased 15 times and decreased 15 times.
