Gasoline prices are expected to decrease slightly in the operating period this afternoon.

(QNgTV) - This afternoon, July 17, domestic gasoline prices are forecast to decrease slightly by about 100 - 150 VND/liter, following the downward trend of finished gasoline prices in the Singapore market last week.

It is expected that E5 RON92 gasoline will decrease to around VND19,570/liter, while RON95 gasoline may fall to close to VND20,000/liter. In contrast, diesel and kerosene prices will likely increase slightly by about VND100 - 120/liter.

Previously, in the operating period on July 10, gasoline prices increased by more than VND200/liter after many sessions of mixed fluctuations. At the same time, world oil prices continued to decrease as trade tensions between the US and Europe increased.

However, demand from China and the prospect of a global economic recovery have somewhat limited the decline. The price adjustment period this afternoon will be announced by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Finance at around 3 p.m.
