RON 95 gasoline price increased by 30 VND/liter

Gasoline prices increased and oil prices decreased from 3 p.m. today (May 29), after adjustments by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of RON 95-III gasoline (the popular type on the market) increased by 30 VND, to 19,560 VND per liter. E5 RON 92 also increased by 70 VND, to 19,190 VND.

In contrast, oil products decreased by 210-270 VND per liter. Compared to 7 days ago, diesel oil decreased by 270 VND, down to 17,130 VND per liter. Kerosene and fuel oil have new prices of 17,100 VND and 16,260 VND, respectively.

Thus, since the beginning of the year, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 22 adjustment sessions, including 9 sessions of decrease, 8 sessions of increase and 5 sessions of opposite direction.

The Government is submitting to the National Assembly a 2% reduction in value-added tax (VAT) on some items subject to a 10% rate until the end of 2026. Unlike previous times, this is the first time gasoline and oil products have been included in the VAT reduction list.
