CIRCULAR , NOT CLEAR
On April 25, NPTh had to answer the upper lines about the plan to turn 100 million VND to become a gold investor. At exactly 9:00 a.m., NPTh arrived at the company, Sang (Th.'s upper line) took Th. to meet Le Thi Thuy Lieu (Sang's upper line) to discuss the payment of 100 million VND. Th. explained that he had asked for the money but his relatives came directly to work and pay. With Lieu's consent, Th. called his relatives (ie Thanh Nien reporter) to come to the company to meet the manager to learn about the product package that Th. was about to invest in.
Student Th. receives goods from Vinalink Group after finishing work.
According to the reporter's records, at the branch of Vinalink Group Corporation at 320/12 Truong Chinh, Ward 13, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City, there were many employees in vests, khaki pants and black shoes busy answering the phone and leading job seekers (mostly students) for consultation. Immediately after that, Sang appeared and invited the reporter to the ground floor of the company to work. After hearing the reporter talk about learning about NPTh's investment work at the company before paying 100 million VND for him to become a gold investor, Sang said that investing at the company is to buy functional food product packages (the company has over 20 products), which will be put into branches to enjoy many preferential benefits, as well as commissions. Currently, NPTh has paid 15 million VND (investing in 1 product package), this is the condition to become a distributor at the company. With this payment level, NPTh is only a silver investor. To become a manager (upper level), NPTh must learn and choose higher investment packages. During his time working here, NPTh chose to invest 100 million VND to become a gold investor (also known as a distributor).
Thanh Nien reporter asked Lieu (Th.'s superior) to provide all documents related to goods and sales.
At this time, a woman named Lan stepped forward, claiming to be Sang's senior, asking for permission to talk to the reporter. Lan said that when investing in the company's product packages, she would enjoy the company's purchasing policies and be trained in sales by the company. The profit rate depends on the ability of each investor. There are many ways to distribute the product, such as selling on e-commerce sites, finding customers themselves, marketing at hospitals, pharmacies, etc. Lan invited the reporter to drink a bag of water with the word Quantum printed on it and introduced it as a product that the company was distributing. The reporter said that when the company introduced to Th. this was the type of water for National Assembly delegates to drink during meetings, Lan nodded. Lan also committed that all of the company's products had documents in accordance with the law. When the reporter asked to see the product and related documents, Lan used her phone to text.
A few minutes later, manager Le Thi Thuy Lieu (Lan's superior) appeared to continue working with the reporter. Lieu asked Sang and Lan to go inside to get some products to introduce and convince the reporter. Lieu said that when paying 100 million VND to become a gold investor, they would enjoy a good price purchase policy and be able to participate in the company's system.
At nearly 12 noon, the reporter asked Lieu to prepare documents related to the products, invoices and vouchers of the product package that NPTh had invested 15 million VND in and promised to return in the early afternoon to continue working...

PAID FOR PURCHASE BUT DID NOT WRITE A RECEIPT
At about 1:45 p.m. the same day, the reporter went with NPTh back to the Vinalink Group branch to work, to receive the product package that Th. had invested in and sent there. At this time, Sang was busy carrying 10 boxes of Hydrogen Quantum-rich drinking water (the type of water that Sang and Lan confirmed that National Assembly delegates drank during meetings) for 5.9 million VND; 6 boxes of Bach Xuan, for 4.44 million VND; 13 bottles of V-Naturecare feminine hygiene solution, for 2.47 million VND; 5 boxes of Vhealth (chocolate flavor), for 2.19 million VND. The total bill was 15 million VND. These were all the products that NPTh was advised to invest in Vinalink Group, following the multi-level marketing path. On the desk, Lieu had prepared documents related to the origin, food safety assurance, inspection papers related to the product set, and value-added invoices sold by Vinalink Group to NPTh. PV asked NPTh if this was the product he invested in, Th. replied "I was advised to invest but did not know what product it was. At that time, my mind was manipulated so I just transferred money and followed the instructions of the upper level. After transferring money, I was instructed to make a shipping order". In response to this incident, Lieu quickly explained "she volunteered, no one forced her". In the documents Lieu provided, there was still a missing receipt of 15 million VND (the amount that NPTh paid to become an investor in the company), Lieu was confused, explained in circles and then used her phone to text for advice.
On the morning of May 9, the Vietnam Multi-level Marketing Association had a meeting with 3 students related to the complaint that they were led to invest in multi-level marketing in Vinalink Group; the meeting was attended by representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade and Mr. Nguyen Duc Anh (General Director of Vinalink Group). Mr. Duc Anh said that through Thanh Nien Newspaper's reflection, the company admitted to a lack of supervision, allowing the distributor at the Vinalink Group branch in Tan Binh District to act in violation of Decree 40/2018/ND-CP. The students were provided with incomplete information by the distributor, and paid to buy the company's products to participate in multi-level marketing activities. In these cases, Vinalink Group will receive information (address: 320/12 Truong Chinh, Ward 13, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City), verify and resolve according to the wishes of the students.
On the same afternoon, NPTh and NLGQ (first-year students) received information from Vinalink Group and were supported to liquidate the contract, return the goods and receive back the money they invested in the company.
At this time, Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (Lieu's senior) continued to work with the reporter. Thuy said that all documents related to the product package that NPTh invested in the company had been provided as requested. As for the receipt of 15 million VND, the company could not provide it, because the company had issued a value-added tax invoice to NPTh (proving that NPTh had purchased goods from the company). At this time, the reporter proved that 15 million VND was transferred by NPTh to Le Thi Thuy Lieu to invest in the company and requested a receipt. Lieu admitted that after receiving the money from NPTh, she transferred it to the company to buy goods for Th., so there could not be a receipt (!?). "Why did you buy a multi-level investment product in Vinalink Group and instruct students to transfer it to their personal accounts?", the reporter asked, and both Lieu and Thuy were confused, unable to explain and kept texting on their phones.
After nearly 2 hours of work, Thuy gently asked: "Does the family have any requests other than the purpose of coming to pick up the goods? The company will respond. The company is willing to buy back the goods from NPTh and will return the money to the family." The reporter asked the company to fulfill its contractual commitments and provide receipts, documents, and invoices related to the payment and purchase of functional food products for the product package that NPTh had invested in. Late in the afternoon of the same day, the reporter asked Vinalink Company to make a record of the meeting and pick up the goods. (to be continued)
