Mr. Mac Xuan Tung, in charge of pickleball, Vietnam Sports Department, said the tournament The 2025 National Club Pickleball Championship took place in Bac Giang from April 15 to April 20, attracting nearly 500 players from 50 clubs nationwide to compete in the following events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. Athletes competed in two professional and amateur categories and were divided into three age groups: under 35 years old, from 35 to 45 years old, and from 46 years old and above.

The tournament has the participation of notable players such as Le Xuan Duc, Nguyen Anh Thang, Huynh Chi Khuong, Pham Minh Tuan, Nguyen Dac Tien,... Notably, there are also foreign players such as Mayur Narayan, Mihika Sanjoy, Mihae Kwon, promising to bring exciting encounters.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Truong Quang Hai, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang province, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, said: "Pickleball is a new sport introduced to Vietnam, but has quickly received the attention of many people of all ages thanks to its attractiveness, ease of play and health benefits. This tournament is not only an opportunity for athletes to compete, practice and improve their professional skills, but also an important milestone to promote the extensive development of the pickleball movement in the country in general and in Bac Giang in particular."

The first champions were determined at the end of today's competition. In the professional men's doubles category under 35 years old, the gold medal went to Le Xuan Duc/Mayur Narayan ( Da Nang Pickleball Club). In the age group from 35 to 45, the championship went to Huynh Chi Khuong/Nguyen Anh Thang (Facolos Global Team). In the age group from 46 and up, the pair Nguyen Huy Long/Bui Xuan Ha (Vietnam Pickleball Club) were crowned champions after defeating Ly Minh Tan/Phan Thanh Hung (Facolos Global Team) in the final.
