Dissolution of the Steering Committee for summarizing the implementation of the Land Law and developing the Land Law Project (amended)

(Chinhphu.vn) - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 1572/QD-TTg dated July 21, 2025 on dissolving the Steering Committee for summarizing the implementation of the Land Law and developing the Land Law Project (amended).

Specifically, Decision No. 1572/QD-TTg dissolved the inter-sectoral coordination organization established by the Prime Minister : The Steering Committee for summarizing the implementation of the Land Law and developing the draft Land Law (amended) was established in Decision No. 1188/QD-TTg dated August 4, 2020 and was completed in Decision No. 857/QD-TTg dated July 19, 2022 of the Prime Minister .

Decision No. 1572/QD-TTg takes effect from July 21, 2025.

* On August 4, 2020, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1188/QD-TTg establishing the Steering Committee to review the implementation of the Land Law and develop the draft Land Law (amended).

The Steering Committee has the function of advising and assisting the Prime Minister: Directing ministries, branches and localities to organize the assessment of the implementation of the Land Law and develop the Land Law Project (amended); urging, guiding and inspecting ministries, branches and People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to implement the summary of the implementation of the Land Law.

At the same time, organize the summary and assessment of the implementation of the Land Law, develop a summary report to report to the Prime Minister; direct the development of the Land Law Project (amended) at the request of the Central Executive Committee and the National Assembly and perform other tasks as assigned and directed by the Government and the Prime Minister.

On January 18, 2024, the National Assembly passed the Land Law (amended) or the Land Law 2024, consisting of 16 Chapters and 260 Articles, of which 180/212 Articles of the Land Law 2013 were amended and supplemented and 78 new Articles were added. The Land Law 2024 takes effect from August 1, 2024.
