Provincial Table Tennis and Badminton Championship

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism ( DTC ) of the province organizes the Provincial Table Tennis and Badminton Championship in 2023.

          Compared to previous years, the Table Tennis and Badminton Championship this time is larger in scale, attracting the participation of 42 table tennis and badminton clubs with more than 400 male and female athletes of all ages from agencies, departments, branches, districts and cities in the province. The athletes compete in 11 table tennis events; 15 badminton events with many different age groups. Badminton and table tennis are two popular sports that are loved and practiced regularly by the masses. Therefore, this tournament is organized annually by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to promote the sports training movement, create conditions for athletes of the clubs to compete, improve their professional skills; promote the socialization of sports activities to improve people's physical health.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity for the provincial sports sector to evaluate and draw experience in developing these two sports. With a large scale and the participation of athletes of diverse ages, this year's tournament has higher professional quality, the matches are exciting and attractive, meeting the needs of competition, exchange and enjoyment of sports in general and badminton and table tennis in particular for cadres and the masses. ./
