Significantly reduce the number of units in the Vietnam Register

The Ministry of Construction has just submitted to the Prime Minister a project to reorganize the Vietnam Register, streamlining from 50 units to 17, while separating the functions of state management and public service provision.

According to the proposal, the staff and support unit of the Director will be reorganized to 10 focal points, 3 focal points less than the current number. The local inspection sub-departments will merge 20 existing sub-departments into 3 large sub-departments according to the North - Central - South regions.

The block of public service centers will also be restructured, from 17 to 4 specialized centers according to their fields of operation, and at the same time take over the inspection tasks from the current branches.

Currently, units are urgently completing preparations for personnel, organization, facilities, etc. to ensure operations as soon as the project is approved by competent authorities, without interruption.

The Vietnam Register recommends that the Ministry of Construction promptly allocate a sufficient number of civil servants to arrange them appropriately in the new organizational structure, meeting the requirements of effective management and service to the people and businesses.
