World oil prices today

World oil prices recorded a sharp decline last week. WTI crude oil was at 83.44 USD/barrel last week, down to 82.18 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, WTI crude oil decreased by 1.26 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.5% compared to the previous week.

Brent crude oil was at $86.86/barrel last week, down to $85.27/barrel this week. Overall, Brent crude oil fell $1.59/barrel last week, down 1.3% from the previous week.

Signs of weaker demand from China, the world's largest oil importer, also weighed on oil prices, Reuters reported.

Domestic gasoline prices today

On July 14, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities currently applying) are as follows:

The above domestic retail prices of gasoline and oil were adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of July 11. Accordingly, the price of diesel oil decreased the most, by 342 VND/liter, followed by RON 95-III gasoline, down 258 VND/liter. E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased less, by 179 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 178 VND/liter. Fuel oil increased by 250 VND/kg.

Gasoline discount today

Discount prices of petroleum products today, July 14, at some domestic petroleum dealers are as follows:

Pvoil applies discount rates on July 14: RON 95-III gasoline: Oil discount of VND1,450/liter; RON 95-III gasoline: VND1,450/liter; E5 gasoline: VND1,400/liter. This discount rate is applied at Pvoil Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec An Hai, Cai Lan warehouse.

Tu Luc Petroleum discounts on July 14 as follows: Oil discount: 1,400 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,400 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,350 VND/liter.

MIPEC gasoline discount on July 14: 95 gasoline: 1,300 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,200 VND/liter; oil: 1,400 VND/liter.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices next period

According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. It is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, petroleum prices will continue to decrease. Of which, gasoline will decrease by 200-300 VND/liter, oil will decrease by 200 VND/liter.

Since the beginning of the year, since the price adjustment session on January 4, gasoline prices have increased 16 times and decreased 12 times. Oil prices have increased 15 times and decreased 13 times.
